BLACKOUT CANCER!

Saluki Athletics and the SIH Foundation are teaming up to host the Salukis Blackout Cancer Women's Basketball game on February 16, 2025, at 2 pm. The Saluki Women's Basketball team will be on the court wearing special black Under Armour® jerseys won through a jersey auction. These jerseys will commemorate loved ones by having their name placed on the back of the jersey. The Blackout Cancer games are a way for Saluki fans across the country and people in the community to get involved to assist Southern Illinoisans in their fight against cancer. 

The funds raised assist patients throughout the southern 16 counties of Illinois with expenses such as fuel to and from cancer treatments, co-pays, cancer-related medical bills, prescription assistance, nutritional needs, transportation costs, and medical equipment related to cancer treatment.
